Amelia's POV

I ran and ran as fast as I can. I can see the wolf was gaining on me. I kept running as fast as I can when the wolf lunged at me from afar.

I was lying underneath it. I took a tweak and put it in its mouth to stop it from biting me. But it breaks the tweak. I struggle against it trying to fight it off.

As it was about to put its teeth in my neck, a giant black wolf came and took it off. Both of the wolf were fighting each other when the black wolf rip the rogue's neck

That's when I smelled the scent. It was the Alpha King. He was looking down at the rogues while breathing heavily.

I didn't know what came over me, but I ran the opposite direction of them. I didn't want to face him. At least not yet. Not after what happened.

Soon I reached my house and ran in. My mother looked at my flustered look and hurried towards me. "Oh my goddess Amelia, what happen?" she asked me worried.

I took in few deep breathe of what happen. Except for the part where The Alpha King is my mate. Hearing this my mother got shocked checked for bruises.

I didn't have much bruises except for a few scrapes here and there. But that's all it was. She quickly called my dad and told what happened.

My father got scared and wanted to come back, but I said I was ok and he didn't have to come back. He reluctantly agreed to me.

My mother insisted we go to the infirmary but I said bandages were fine. After much convincing she agreed. I was afraid I might bump into the Alpha King.

I sighed and went to my room to take some rest. Oh moon goddess please help me. I prayed letting her guide me out of this and went to sleep.

What felt like hours, I woke up to my father sound. I sat up hearing his voice when he came in with a worried look.

The moment he saw me, he came to hug me. "Oh thank goddess you are ok." my father said. "I'm fine papa." I said assuring me.

Next I saw my brother and Angela come in. "Baby sister, are you ok?" Nathan asked me concern. I assured him I was fine and soon Angela came and hug me.

"I am so sorry I left you like that. I didn't know that you didn't know how to drive." She kept apologizing. "Its ok. You didn't know. You don't have to apologise." I assured her.

My mum smiled softly at me. Once I told them, I was fine, all of us went down. We sat in the living room just talking.

"So Nathan, did the Alpha King finally find his mate?" my mum asked making me freeze. I don't know what to expect. Did he tell?

"Nope mum." Nathan said making my heart sink. He didn't tell anything about us. He refused to even speak about me. My eyes started to stink.

Before I could cry, I excused myself and left. I didn't want to cry. I just cant believe he would do something like that.

He should at least acknowledge me. But he chose to ignore me. What I didn't realise was that without even realising, I am starting to like. him The mate bond already taking its effect on me.

What am I gonna do? With so much of confused thoughts, I went to sleep.

The next day.

"Honey, hurry up. You are going to be late on your first day." my mum yelled from downstairs. I quickly stuffed everything in my bag pack. Luckily I didn't lose my stuff yesterday.

I went down to see my dad was ready. I grabbed an apple and went towards my dad's car. "You ready?" he asked me.

I nodded my head frantically. The college was walking distance only. But since it was the first day, my dad insisted that he drop me off.

I got inside the car so did my dad. I turn on the radio as I sing along to the songs till we reach the college. "You should choir." my father said turning to me.

"No thanks." I said taking my bag and got down. I heard my dad chuckle. "Be safe." he said as I show a thumbs up signal. I heard him drive before going in.

I went straight to the office room to take timetable and locker combination. The receptionist was a kind lady as she gave me my things and explained on how to get to my class.

Once keeping my stuff in the locker, I gather my things and went to my class. I knocked the door, as the professor was teaching the students. Upon hearing me knock, he stopped teaching.

"You are?" He asked me questioningly. The entire class was looking at me. I blushed due to the attention.

"I am Amelia Rose. New student." I introduced myself. "Oh right. Please come in and take a seat at any empty space." he said directing me in. I climbed up the lecture hall and saw an empty space beside a girl.

"May I?" I asked her politely. She smiled at me softly and nodded her head. "Hi I am Avery." she introduced herself.

"Hi. I am Jason." a boy beside her introduced. I smiled at them both. I can smell both of them are werewolves. I don't know if they are my pack.

"Are you guys from silver moon pack?" I whispered to which they looked surprised. "Wait how do you what we are?" Jason asked surprised. "My family is a werewolf family. I somehow am human." I explained.

"Well. Yes we are from the Silver Moon pack." Avery said smiling to which I return. We return back to what the professor was teaching.

The day seemed to go by very fast. Avery and Jason seemed to be very nice and joyful people. I also learnt they were mates.

The moment they said that my thought ran to my mate. But pushing those thought behind, I continued my day.

Once college was over, Avery and Jason offered to drop me off and I agreed instantly. I didn't want what happened yesterday to happen again.

Once they dropped me off, I when inside my house. That's when I smelt wolves from the pack inside my house. I quickly ran inside.

The moment I went inside, I saw bulky men standing inside. My parents, Nathan and Angela were talking among themselves.

The moment they smelt me, everyone's head turn to me. I stood there frozen not knowing what is going on. My parents quickly rushed towards me.

They grabbed me and pulled me into an empty room. "What's going on?" I asked confused to the 4 of them. They closed door before turning to me.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Nathan asked me. "Tell y'all what?" "That the Alpha King was your mate?" they asked as I stood there shocked. How did they know?

I didn't answer and looked down not answering them. "You met him at the Ball? Didn't you?" Angela asked. I nodded my head slowly.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Nathan asked me again. I didn't know how to tell them. "H-He didn't want me." I stuttered out.

The four of them took a deep breathe. "Of course he would do that." Nathan said angrily. He took a deep breathe.

"Well to bad. He has to accept you. We need you." Angela said nonchalantly. I stared at her unbelievingly.

"He just told us about you. After so much persuasion, he told us about you." "And now you need to come with us to the palace." he said seriously.

"What?" I asked shocked. "Yes dear." my father said softly. How am I going to face him? What am I to do now?

"You have to come with us. The pack needs you. You can feel it yourself that the pack is becoming weak." my brother said to which I agree.

Letting out a big sigh I agreed. Just then we heard the doors knock. "We have to go. Now." someone said from the other side.

With last sigh I stepped outside.
