-Ciega! You've destroyed my son for three years, why don't you go to hell yet? -a sour voice came from the phone.

Albina Espina blinked moodlessly.

She was blind. Ever since she had married Umberto Santangelo three years ago, Mrs. Santangelo had never liked her and had even had it in for her. Even though they had both moved out of the Santangel Family home, Mrs. Santangel still called her every day to insult her.

Since she was Umberto's mother, for three years, Albina put up with the most unkind words. But today she didn't want to take it anymore.

As she could hear that Umberto was very impatient, Albina felt bad as if her heart was clogged by something. She did not understand why she had not noticed his annoyance before, although it was so noticeable.

-Umberto, we're getting a divorce!

Albina bit her lip hard and said after a long time.

Startled, Umberto looked at her and pursed his mouth without having thought that she would say this to him.

-Albina, stop talking nonsense. Take back what you said and I'll take it back as if nothing had happened.

-Umberto Santangel, do you think I'm in the mood for jokes?

Angered by Umberto's frivolous words, Albina answered him.

Angrily, she abruptly stretched out the arms of the blanket.

Umberto approached and leafed through it. On the document, it was written that Albina would not require any property if he could divorce her.

To divorce him, Albina unexpectedly claimed nothing.

-Albina, at first I wanted to hide that from you. Now that you know, I'll tell you the truth," Umberto laughs coldly.

He approached her abruptly and clenched her jaw, looking at her pretty face and melancholic eyes.

-Three years ago, your dad drove while drunk, which left Yolanda in a vegetative state. She's been in the hospital for three years without waking up. You owe all that to her.

Hearing this, Albina was stunned and unconsciously replied.
