The tapping of blood drops filled the silent dark room, I glanced at the body which was tied upside down with the wrists cut down. Looking at the condition of the man, I didn't feel anything. I didn't feel bad nor pity, but all I felt was anger. All those horrible things he did rush to my mind, Venessa's condition was the first thing that hit my mind.

Enzo and Venessa are both in the hospital, fighting for their lives and who's responsible for it? This man!

I glared at him while gritting my teeth while anger rose inside me like a raging fire.

James walked forward while handing me the gun.

"Are you sure you want to do this, Boss," He asked while glancing at the body,

"Yes," I replied,

"Boss... He's your father…" that word made my blood boil and I fisted my hands while trying to control my anger.

"HE'S NOT MY FATHER," I growled while shutting my eyes and clenching my jaw.

James stepped back while bowing his head to me, hearing Boris's eyes turn to me. As blood kept flowing down his wrists, he had no energy to even utter a word.

"Ni-Nik-Nikolai…" he whispered,

"Don't... do… this… I'm your father," he said with great difficulty,

"You were never my father and…" I grabbed his head and pressed the gun to his forehead, "... I'm not your son," I gritted my teeth,

"You're nothing but a monster,"

"No…" he whispered, before he could utter any word, I pulled the trigger. With a loud bang, the bullet went through his head and blood splashed everywhere.

Love, What does it give you anyway? Nothing but pain, all those painful memories which hurt you more than any physical pain. All my life I had been craving for my mother's love which I never got, my father never loved but used me as a puppet to get to my mother, my brother, Enzo left me and cut all his ties with me.

I fell in love with someone I could never have. I fell in love with my brother's wife, that brother who I loved more than anything.

Being rejected by love for my whole life broke my fragile heart, it's so broken that it has no strength to go through another rejection. I vowed to never let this heart of mine ever beat anyone, I built a huge wall around it and I made it so strong that no one could ever break it no matter what.

I never understand what my destiny wants from me. I guess it wants me to turn into the very monster I loathed my whole life, My father, Boris.

Despite how hard I tried to not become like my father, in the end, I realized I could never be a good man because Boris's blood runs in my veins.

I tried desperately but I couldn't reject the fact that I'm Boris's son.
