"Huh?" Xalia asked confused.

"Draven Wade?" He asked again and she tried to think about it, she hasn't heard that name before.

"No, I have never heard it." She replied and he nodded.

"Your father and I agreed on something in exchange I have you."

"What did you… "

"That is none of your business, all you need to know is that you are my wife and I can do anything I want with you." He said and Xalia couldn't help but scoff and roll her eyes.

"One question."

"What?"

"Why am I tied to a bed and why is that weird thing on my legs?" She yelled.

"Are you trying to tell for attention cause if you are, I don't think anyone will hear you." He said and she breathed out heavily, he moved to the bed and loosen the ropes, her hands became free and she rubbed her wrists.

He also freed her legs and she hurriedly stood up from the bed, his eyes drifted to the wedding gown on the couch and he scoffed.

"You really thought you were going to get married to Harrison?" He asked and her eyes widen slightly.

"You… you know Kyle?" She asked and he ignored her question.

"Are you sure you are a McCall?"

"Yes, why?" She asked confused.

"A thousand things are going on in that family and with the look of things, you know nothing about them." He replied and Xalia felt her heart shatter, she has always been left out right from when she was young.

"And you know?" She asked back.

"At least I know your step-sister is carrying Harrison's child." He replied and walked out of the room leaving Xalia in shock.

What? Her step-sister is carrying Kyle's first child? That can't be true, she has been dating Kyle since high school and they were so in love, Kyle doesn't even talk to her step-sister.

What the hell is going on? And how the fuck does Draven know about her family?

She really needs to speak to her mum, but she doesn't have a phone with her.

She sniffed and touch her cheeks, she noticed they were wet and she sighed, she didn't even realize she was crying. Kyle really hurt her, she had so many plans for them and it all ended in a flash.

She stared at the dress and exhaled, her life is a mess.

A WHILE LATER

With a grumbling stomach, Xalia made her way down the stairs, she got to the living room and she met Draven on a phone call, he was walking around slowly and he stopped as he saw her.

Xalia looked around as she bit her lip, she was waiting for him to be done before she asked her question.

Draven dropped the call after a few seconds and he gave her a questioning look.

"Hmm, I... I am hungry." She said.

"That is the way to the kitchen." He replied pointing in a direction. He really wants her to cook herself? She breathed out and scratched her hair like a child.

"I… I... I don't know how to cook." She mumbled.

"Well, there are no maids here, it is supposed to be a honeymoon, fix yourself something to eat."

"Can't we order a pizza or something? Like you said it is our honeymoon and that is what I want." She said and Draven shook his head.

"What do you want?" He asked as he was about to place the order.

"Pasta and chicken, a burger, ice cream, lots of fruits and milk." She replied and he placed the order.

"It should be here soon." He replied and she nodded.

She wanted to ask him a question but she felt intimidated, she didn't notice how handsome he looked at first.

He has brown eyes which looked like the colour of earth kissed by spring rain, he is cute but different from all others. He is handsome, not perhaps in the conventional sense, but he had that appearance which could make him stand out in the crowd. His dark hair really made him look so attractive. Still speaking of his brown eyes they were deep and expressive, where you could get lost if you stared long enough. His face had that faraway look in it, which cannot be described in words, his basalt jaw and Spartan shoulders spoke of strength and made him look so dominant. He looks so better, better than Kyle.

"Gotten over Harrison so fast?" She heard him ask and she snapped out of her thoughts, she didn't realize she has been staring for too long.

"Huh? What?" She asked and he walked towards her, Xalia felt her heart starting to race and her feet become glued to the floor.

He got so close to her that they were inches apart, Xalia held her breath as she looked into his eyes, you really can get lost staring at them.

"Hmm, I really should have picked your sister but she was pregnant already." He said and she inhaled his breath, they smelt like mint.

Xalia couldn't process what he was saying at the moment, all she did was stare at him with her lips slightly parted.

He slowly pulled away and walked away and Xalia let out her breath, she gasped silently and placed her hand on her chest. Why the hell did she feel that way? Is he that intimidating?

And what does he mean that he should have picked his sister? What the hell is going on?

HOURS LATER

Xalia lay on the bed in her room and she stared at the ceiling, she felt so bored and exhausted. After having the meal Draven ordered, she watched the television a little before deciding to take a nap.

She tried taking a nap but couldn't fall asleep because of how worried she is, she couldn't also talk to Draven, he has been avoiding her.

She suddenly heard the door to her room open and she sat up to see Draven walking in, he held a bag, he threw it on the bed and she looked at it before turning to him.

"What?"

"Get dressed, we are leaving in an hour."

"Where are we going?"

"To a party your family organized." He replied.

"Hmm, I don't want to go."

"Don't you want answers? Harrison is going to be there." He said and she felt her heart skip a beat.
