I Will Never Forgive You
Chapter 1
My daughter was in a car accident and was about to die. Before she died, she wanted to see her father one last time.

I frantically called Daniel's phone, and it took him ten times before he answered.

Daniel's tone was full of impatience: "Kailynn, are you crazy? Why are you calling so much?"

I couldn't stop crying, and I humbly begged him.

"Daniel, Aliya has been in a car accident and is in critical condition. She wants to see you one last time. Please come quickly and see her!"

Daniel laughed angrily: "Kailynn, are you crazy? In order to win me back, you even cursed your own daughter to death. You have a heart of pure evil!"

"Julia almost had a miscarriage, and I'm with her now, so I don't have time to mess around with you!"

After saying that, he hung up the phone directly.

The monitor emitted a shrill sound, and his daughter never got to see her father die. He would rather stay with Juliana, whom he loved, than come to see his daughter one last time.

Aliya closed her eyes in despair and left me forever.

My heart died with her.

I decided to divorce Daniel.

---

I always knew that Daniel didn't love me; the one he truly loved was Juliana.

He hated me for resorting to any means necessary, for getting pregnant with his child and giving birth to Aliya, forcing him to break up with Juliana and marry me.

But he forgot that it was he who, after getting drunk that night, forced me to have relations with him, which led to my pregnancy with Aliya.

I tried to explain it to him, but he didn't believe me, stubbornly thinking that I had plotted against him.

In his eyes, everything I said was a lie, everything I did was to deceive him, all aimed at breaking him and Juliana apart.

I used to be unwilling to accept this.

But now, with Aliya gone, I have no attachments left to this world, including Daniel.

I have completely let go.

I took Aliya to the crematorium, and after her cremation, I dragged my weary body back to the house Daniel and I had shared.

The house was eerily quiet, everything just as it had been before I left; Daniel had not returned.

Without a word, I went to my daughter's room and held her photo, crying inconsolably.

My eyes were red and swollen from crying.

Aliya was the only motivation I had to hold this family together, to keep pushing forward. Now that she was gone, what was the point of this fragile relationship that could shatter at any moment?

I might as well… divorce Daniel.

After all, the one in his heart had always been his first love, Juliana.

I had never held even the smallest place in his heart.

There was noise coming from downstairs.

"Dan, you brought me here. Kai won't mind, right?"

"Don't worry about her!"

I stepped outside, clutching Aliya's photo, and immediately saw Daniel carrying Juliana into the house, gently placing her on the sofa with the utmost tenderness.

A tenderness I had never experienced.

I trembled with rage.

Aliya hadn't even met her biological father before she died.

Yet he had been by Juliana's side the whole time, unwavering, and now he was bringing her into our home.

With Aliya's body still warm, how could he be so heartless?!

I couldn't help but rush downstairs, furiously questioning, "Daniel, you bring Juliana into our marital home, and what about my deceased daughter Aliya? How can you do this?!"

"Get her out of here!"

Daniel held Juliana in his arms, showing no regard for me.

He sneered at me, "Kailynn, you're still making a scene, aren't you?"

"What deceased daughter? You're cursing your own daughter to death!"

"Is this how you act as a mother? Aliya has such a mother; it's truly a curse!"

I was furious, "I'm not making a scene. Aliya is really dead; why won't you believe me?"

Daniel scoffed, "Believe you? I'd rather believe a dog!"

"Anyway, this is my territory. If anyone should leave, it's you!"

My heart sank heavily.

I knew he was heartless towards me, but I didn't expect it to be this cruel.

I had borne him a daughter, catered to him daily, sought to please him, and met all his demands, yet I couldn't warm his heart even slightly.

There's no greater sorrow than a dead heart.

Since he was so heartless, I had no reason to cling to him anymore.

With Aliya gone, I had no ties left to him.

He hated me for forcibly separating him from Juliana; now, I was going to give him back to her.

"Daniel, let's get a divorce."

Daniel laughed in anger, "Divorce? Julia almost miscarried; I'm just bringing her back to stay for a couple of days and take care of her. Why are you so petty? You want to drive her away and still want to divorce me?!"

"Can't you tolerate Julia at all?!"

"When you drove Julia out of the country, she generously spoke up for you; why are you being so calculative now?"

I was stunned; what was Daniel talking about?

When did I ever drive Juliana out of the country?

I caught a glimpse of Juliana, who was smirking at me as if her scheme had succeeded.

I realized then that this was all Juliana's doing!

That scheming, hypocritical woman!

Seeing that I was glaring at her in anger, Juliana hurriedly hid in Daniel's embrace, her eyes red and on the verge of tears.

"Dan, it seems Kai really can't stand me; I should leave quickly."

"I don't want you two to get too tense because of me."

Daniel comforted Juliana in his arms, speaking gently, "Julia, don't mind her; she doesn't have the ability to drive you away!"

He turned to me, his gaze instantly becoming cold and indifferent, "Kailynn, if you can't tolerate Julia, you should leave quickly; I don't have room for you here!"

True heartache isn't found in hysterical shouting; it's a calm heart.

I laughed, "Fine, I'll leave, to give you two lovebirds some space."
