Josey's POV

I could not tell Sabrina how much trouble we were in exactly. All I needed was her power and abilities to defeat any threat.

The level of fuck up that is the mess I have created was royal, threats were about to crash on my brother's kingdom and I have potentially revealed a bigger threat to human existence than themselves. We all know they fear the unknown and by our actions, mine and Cayden's, I have opened a can of worms I am not sure will ever be contained.

Trouble was brewing and I have put all of us in danger, for a second there at Sabrina's house, I was scared the elders knew of my transgressions and just how deep they were but alas, they did not expose me. Hopefully my sister arrives in time to save Cayden from the hunter's.

They asked for a meeting with our supreme, said they only wanted to talk and I know they want more than that but I know Sabrina will overcome them, no matter what they bring. I was not strong enough for them and my only way to survive was to guarantee my sister's presence... Goddess knows what they have in store for her when she arrives...

"Look, we all maintain a safe distance until I know for sure they are not a threat." Sabrina says before we all poof out of the heavenly realm and head to earth.

Sabrina gave a look before we all left, I can't tell if it is a look of knowing and if she has been fishing inside my head but I know she gave me a look and said nothing. It was not a pissed off look so I think I am safe for now; I just did not think Xander would come along... now he was in danger. The weapons these humans had were way past what we were all used to and if something happens to him, I would never forgive myself and never mind that, Sabrina would kill me over and over again,

We make it to earth, red tents and smoke reaching the skies a little further off in the distance, Voices could be heard and loud cheers thanks to our supersonic wolf hearing.

"I think there is about a thousand humans on land. Cayden can easily take these humans out. Josey, what are you not telling us?" CJ asks me, he was giving me the stank look and I knew soon everyone would find out but I just did not have the balls to actually spill the truth.

"I have heard of the red tents. They are a human population raised to defeat threats that normal humans can't. I am not surprised they have captured Cayden and have manufactured a weapon that is able to put a vampire to sleep. If anything, I think they have a weapon for us too... we are on land and they are known scientists. If anything, they lured us here, knowing Josey would run to you and bring you here." Xander tells Sabrina.

"So, you are saying that we just walked in to a trap?" CJ asks Xander.

"I am saying, they have been expecting us and Josey delivered us to our deaths." Xander says, giving me a look of disappointment.

Sabrina stays quiet for some time, everyone else following in on the silence as we look on... and then all of a sudden, she speaks.

"Anthony, take Xander back to the realm and CJ back to his castle before you come back to me. If anything happens to me, I am counting on you to be the element of surprise. My role here on earth has me exposed but I doubt they know anything about you. Josey, I will trade places with Cayden and you make sure you get him out of there." Sabrina says to us.

"No. I am not going anywhere!" Xander goes stubborn, rolling my eyes at this before shrinking and remembering that this whole thing is my fault.

"I am sure they have weapons to use on werewolves and since I am a superior being, it may not work on me. I can only pretend that it does while I read their minds and find their base. Once I have the necessary information to take them down, I will burn this whole place to the ground and I don't want any of you close enough to die." Sabrina orders, her wolf's voice loud and clear with the demands.

Anthony does not argue, he takes a reluctant Xander with him and CJ, we watch them they go off, Evan following suit after having a mind link conversation with Sabrina.

"I read your mind the minute the elders warned against coming here. I knew the danger but after coming here and reading the plans the humans have for me, I knew I needed to get Xander and CJ far away from here. I need to warn you though, how you find Cayden will be very telling on how he feels about you and give you somethings to think about... but save him nonetheless. I will walk in with you, I know they are watching us already, awaiting my arrival with your word that I will come. Just know that you could have come to me with the truth and I would still have come, with a different plan though." Sabrina says to me, the guilt growing past a 100 now.

"I am really sorry. I just didn't want Cayden to ruin the chance you have given him and with the crazy human feedings he has been doing, I thought you would kill him for good." I say, not meeting my sister's eyes.

"Well, he deserves it and do you really think we were not going to find out sooner or later? That Cayden is a ticking time bomb and if you are not careful, he will take you down with him? Anyway, let us get going before they resort to violent ways to bring me in. I wouldn't want Athena going on a rampage before I am able to gather enough intel on them." Sabrina says to me and I walk on, leading the way for the trap waiting for us inside.

What Sabrina said about Cayden and finding him in there, had my mind spinning. Worry for my life and the life of my sister's was now flushed out by the anxiety of what Cayden has done now... Just how worse could things get?
